Itafos Refinances Credit Facilities, Raises Commitment to $140M
Itafos Inc. amended and extended its term loan and revolving credit facilities, boosting total commitment to $140 million led by RBC Capital Markets.
Itafos Inc. (TSX-V: IFOS; OTCQX: ITFS) announced Tuesday it has refinanced its existing credit facilities through an amendment that raises its term loan commitment and extends maturity dates, the Houston-based company said in a statement.
Under the Amended Term Loan Agreement, Itafos secured a new commitment of $140 million alongside a $30 million letter of credit facility, replacing a $100 million term loan that carried $82.5 million in outstanding balances, as well as a prior $30 million letter of credit facility. The transaction also extends the maturity date of the existing arrangement.

RBC Capital Markets served as Lead Left Arranger and Administrative Agent on both the term loan amendment and a separate amendment to the company's revolving asset-based credit facility. Texas Capital and PNC Capital Markets LLC acted as Joint Lead Arrangers on both transactions.
The revolving asset-based credit facility received a parallel amendment that similarly pushes out its maturity date, providing the company with additional runway across its broader debt structure. Itafos described the moves as measures to enhance financial flexibility and liquidity.
